Community United Methodist Church Before the 1946 Renovation
Before the 1946 renovation, the pews were placed in a
semi-circular shape, facing the pulpit in the left corner of the chancel.
The pews and pulpit chairs are the same ones still used today.
The wall (left center) divided in the center , the top
raised and the bottom lowered opening into the former Epwoth League Room,
which is now two classrooms to the left of the sanctuary.
The pipe organ was purchased in 1873 and used to be placed
in the center of the chancel with the pipes showing.
