Worship Team

Rev. Pamela Carey
Pam Carey is a retired United Methodist Elder currently attending St. Paul’s UMC. Some of you may remember her as a Physical Therapist who worked at Burke P.T. here in Jacksonville. At that time she lived just down the road in Trumansburg with her husband and 3 children, Pam left her career as a P. T. in 2010 to attend seminary, and has served churches in Arkport, Bishopville and Dryden. She lives with her husband, Chris, in Freeville. Pam is impressed with the mission of JUMC to the community and beyond and is looking forward to sharing Communion on the first Sundays of the coming months.
Ed LaVigne

Ed has been a member of Lansing United Methodist Church since 2000 after a 30-year leave from the church.  Since he joined LUMC, Ed became a lay minister, was the chair of the Outreach Committee and the Special Events Committee, taught Adult Bible Studies, mentored confirmands, and chaired over 30 biannual Rummage Sales for his church. Ed is a retired pharmacist and a member of the Lansing Lions. Ed has been the president of the Lansing Community Council (LCC) for over 15 years. LCC has led the effort to resurrect the North Log Cabin and construct the new Myers Park Playground and the six dugouts at the town of Lansing ballfields. We are glad to have Ed with us on Sunday mornings, sharing the word of God.

Jami Breedlove-Crouch

Jami is currently the Loving Care Ministries Coordinator for St. Paul's UMC in Ithaca. Jami and her spouse Diana have been active at St. Paul’s UMC in Ithaca for 18 years and have been lay servants for at least 10 of those years. Jami is the local lay member to the Annual Conference and Diana has been an equalization member for several years. Jami and Diana love the Jacksonville Thrift Shop and are regular customers and look forward to our annual Holiday Craft Fair as well. She looks forward to hearing from us on where she can fit into the great ministry that we as a church have been doing already. Please let her know what has already been working for you and how she can help. She knows that God is at work in Jacksonville and her goal is to not get in the way.

Dianne Walter

Dianne has been actively involved in the ministries of the Lansing United Methodist Church in Lansing, NY, since 1998.  Her heart found her most involved in the Children and Youth Ministries teaching Sunday School at all levels. Her deep passion for those youth in the difficult years of Middle School found her desiring a more enriching and spiritually stronger Confirmation program at LUMC. The program she gives God all the glory for has enriched all the lives now deeply committed to this God-inspired Confirmation program. To be privileged to be invited to share with the Jacksonville Community UMC adds yet another layer of joy to her life and heartfelt thanksgiving to her God!
